BRD was appointed by Stanza Consulting on behalf of a retirement housing developer, to undertake a geotechnical ground investigation at their site in Lincolnshire. A 4.0m x 6.0m stretch of retaining wall had collapsed and an investigation was required to establish underlying ground conditions.
As a direct result of our site works, subsequent assessments and discussions with Stanza Consulting, we were able to aid in the finalisation of temporary wall designs. The clients preferred temporary wall design was recently constucted. This has made the situation safe and provided a working platform for the rebuilding of the future retaining wall.
